Located on 100 rolling acres in the beautiful Litchfield Hills of Northwestern Connecticut, Windfield Morgan Farm has been raising family friendly Morgan's since 1976. Currently home to more than 50 Morgans, the farm began as Lee Lyons' dream to raise versatile Morgans that would excel in the show ring and be safe and sound on the trail. Windfield Morgan Farm has had many show champions, including Windfield Carlen Lad, who in 1979, was the first Morgan gelding ever to win In Hand, In Harness and Under Saddle at the Grand National Horse Show. Lee is always delighted to hear from happy owners about the successes their horses have achieved.
Windfield Morgan Farm expanded into the wonderful world of colorful Morgans and now is home to an exciting array of buckskins, palominos and the rarer duns, creams, perlinos and grays that combine the exceptional quality of the Windfield Morgan breeding program with dazzling colors. Of course the traditional blacks, bays and chestnuts are all still featured.
Come enjoy an afternoon with us and take pleasure in the Windfield experience where our people-friendly horses seem to pick their owners. The welcome mat is always out!
